BLESSINGS

✨Blessings✨

I want to share some wonderful things that impacted me this year and what better time than the holidays . In the midst of high interest rates and limited inventory in the housing market, where people were on edge and frustrated. I found comfort in a few clients whose stories I feel compelled to share.

🌟With permission to use their names the first is Sardia . Back on Memorial Day weekend, I really didn’t feel like leaving my beautiful backyard during the perfect weather. But I was asked to attend an open house for a new referral partner Tracey from Swan Realty. Who would have guessed that I would meet Sardia. She was looking at the house with her agent and while she was outside talking on the street, I approached them . Sardia was friendly and she politely engaged me. We spoke of programs for first time homeowners. Later on, she sent in all her paperwork and we pre approved her for a mortgage. Sardia said God put me in her path that day. She wound up buying a different home with a first time homebuyer program in my neighborhood nowhere near where I met her. We found such a positive connection. During the entire process, she was a breath of fresh air. My processor Geralyn couldn’t say enough good things about her . Sardia closed on her beautiful home and sent me a card that renewed my faith in people! Filled with the kindest words that really made me feel like I do make a difference in people’s lives. Ours is a connection that proves that sometimes you are presented with opportunities for a definite reason .

🌟Next, we have Sharon.  She has rented a home in Babylon for twenty-one years.  Her landlord was the parent of the people she purchased from. Christine and her brother inherited the home and waited for Sharon to be able to qualify for a mortgage so she would have the option to buy it first, if she wanted.  The family sold it to Sharon at a very discounted price and did everything in their power to make the transaction easy.  And with limited funds to close, Sharon and her son couldn’t be more appreciative and happy in their now OWN home.

🌟Lastly a client I was working with that suffered a loss of a child at birth while we were working together.  There are no words can you ever say to someone to ease that pain. While going through my own personal health challenges at that time, the strength of this woman and the grace with which she handled this horrible situation, made me push through my own difficult situation. This couple purchased a home and though it was not an easy transaction for them because the owner of the home passed away right before closing.  We had to wait for the estate to be handled.  Once again, this couple put everything in perspective and made it to the closing table.

Each and every time stories like this unfold, it gives me a feeling of purpose.  It makes me see the good in people and the difference attitude can make. I take away from these clients and use these lessons in my own life . I believe actions speak louder than words and people can make you or break you . I’m grateful for these clients and shared experiences we had .
